I am baby sitting two young kids - don't know whose. Then I take them for ice cream, I end up getting milkshake. I complain, the waiter promises to change it for me , but then I get called away… I leave quickly, then remember I left the kids at the counter. I go back to look for them , they are no where. I ask for my ice cream, by now my order has a muffin, I am like ok. Give it to me, them I am being sent to another counter to pick my order. There is a show and Moody Awuori - 95 year old Kenya's former vice president, is standing in front of me and he pees on himself, and as he walks up the stairs, it is dripping. Turns out only I can see and smell the pee. And I have to go in to watch the show. I am walking up the stairs trying not to step on pee. Eventually I get into the auditorium. When I get there I can see two trays one is mine the other is the same order but half eaten. I am still distracted looking for the kids … I get the tray, I am not paying attention but , I have been given the half eaten one. I pinch the muffin and then realise, that that is not mine. I ask for my try , the attendant refuses. I am mad and give the tray back and walk away. Suddenly I dont have shoes and I am standing at the Kenya National Theatre entrance. I walk towards the front I see My husband of 23 years sitting on the air in his blue long sleeve tshirt. I tap him to move for me , but he ignore me so I look for a seat on the opposite side . Suddenly I have a blanket and two pillow in my hand and I sit down to watch the movie. Then I wake up.
Dreams often tap into deep emotions, experiences, and subconscious thoughts. Here’s a breakdown of the key elements of your dream and their potential meanings:
Babysitting Young Kids: This may represent your nurturing instincts or obligations. It could suggest feelings of responsibility or care in your waking life, perhaps concerning family, relationships, or even personal projects.
Ice Cream and Milkshake: Ice cream often symbolizes pleasure, indulgence, or rewards, while a milkshake might signify a blend of emotions or situations that you didn't initially expect. Your initial complaint and the switch to a milkshake could indicate feelings of dissatisfaction with current pleasures or how things are unfolding in your life.
Losing the Kids: This part of the dream could convey anxiety about losing control or responsibility over certain aspects of your life. It may reflect fears about being unable to look after those you care about or feeling unprepared in a situation.
Moody Awuori and the Pee Incident: Encountering a recognizable public figure, especially one in a distressing situation, might reflect your views on authority and public image. The act of trying to avoid stepping in pee symbolizes navigating unpleasantness or discomfort in your environment while trying to maintain composure.
The Half-Eaten Tray: This could signify feelings of being dissatisfied or getting less than what you expected. It points to possible anxieties about compromises or receiving incomplete support in your life.
Walking without Shoes: Shoes often represent your journey or the way you navigate the world. Being without them might indicate vulnerability or a feeling of being unprepared to face a situation.
Your Husband Ignoring You: This could reflect feelings of disconnect or frustration in your relationship. Tapping him to move indicates a desire for recognition or attention, while his inaction might suggest feelings of neglect or misunderstanding.
Blanket and Pillows: These items signify comfort and a need for rest or security. Carrying them into the theater may reflect a desire for emotional comfort while facing the struggles represented in the dream.
Overall, this dream appears to grapple with themes of responsibility, protection, dissatisfaction, vulnerability, and relationship dynamics. You might be dealing with feelings of needing to care for others while managing your own desires and frustrations. Reflecting on your current life situations and emotions, particularly regarding relationships and responsibilities, may provide further clarity on the dream’s meaning.
